Ordering Labels & Tags
Most of our products are bespoke and made to order so it is not possible to order online . The first stage is to request a label or tag quote or call us on 02392 511234 to discuss your requirements. If you're not sure exactly which product you need or need further advice, our friendly sales team are available to give help and advice in choosing the right product for your application.
Once you've received your quote and you're ready to order, simply post, fax or email a purchase order clearly stating:
- The goods required
- The quotation number
- Delivery address
- Invoice address (if different)
By return, we will send you a pro forma invoice outlining the payment required before we acknowledge and proceed with your order.
Production Times
Production time depends on several factors, including:
- Order volume
- Available machine time
- Tooling and material stocks
Generally, please allow 14 days for completion of your order, but we also offer a fast turnaround service when required. When applicable, pro forma payments and artwork approval can alter lead times.
Ordering Label Printers
We stock a range of Zebra Label Printers and can obtain others from the Zebra range on request. If you're not sure which printer is suitable for your requirement, call us on 02392 511234 for advice. If you would like a quote for a specific Zebra Printer, you can request a printer quote online or call us.
If you are a new customer, we will send you a pro forma invoice outlining the payment required.
We will acknowledge your order and agree a delivery date with you. Delivery is usually made within 3 days for stock items, 7-10 days for non-stock items or printers ordered with customised labels.
International Orders
We are happy to accept internationals orders. Please request a quote in the usual way. However, please note, all international orders are subject to payment on receipt of order - a proforma invoice will be sent and the order will be processed once payment has been received.
Payment Terms
If you are placing your first order with us, then we will issue a pro-forma invoice and require payment in advance. Once you've received a quote please email, fax or post your order to our sales department who will then issue a pro-forma invoice which must be settled in full before any work commences.
Subsequent orders (excluding international orders) are conducted on 30 day credit terms. In some circumstances, we will grant longer terms, and applications for these must be made in writing.
Payment Methods Accepted
Payments can be made by:
- Bank transfer
- Cheque
- Cash (if making payment in person)
Tooling Charges
No matter what size your labels are, we do not charge for tooling.
Minimum Run
Our minimum order value is usually £25.00.
Artwork
Free In House Artwork Design
We provide FREE in-house artwork design. We have personnel dedicated to artwork generation and they aim to work with you to provide designs that address all your label presentation needs.
When a functional label is required, we are focused on the practical side of artwork design, with ease of use being of paramount importance. Alternatively, the label may be a selling point of a product, or an identifier where a company logo is the centrepiece. Whatever the requirements for your artwork, our team can help you achieve your goals.
Submitting Your Own Artwork
If you prefer, you can submit your own artwork or supply images for our design team to incorporate in the design of artwork. Artwork can be supplied in the following digital formats:
- CorelDRAW™ (CDR) file (up to and including version 12)
- EPS
- JPEG
- TIFF
- Bitmap (BMP)
Digital artwork can be sent to us via email or on CD.
Alternatively, designs could be submitted in the following non-digital formats:
- Transparencies
- High quality printed examples
- In some cases, we can scan images from business cards, letterheads or even other labels.
Artwork Proofs
Digital proofs can be supplied free of charge in PDF format or as a CorelDRAW™ file. Please remember that colours on a computer screen do not necessarily reflect true finished colours, so colour swatches are available on request. If you require an actual finished label sample proof prior to production, we will need to make a nominal change to cover setup and production costs.
Delivery
Delivery is usually within 14 days from receipt of order, or if paying a pro forma invoice, 14 days from receipt of payment.
If we have to produce artwork for a new label design, and you wish to view a proof before production commences, then delivery will usually be 14 days from receipt of your written approval of the artwork.
For urgent requirements we endeavour to deliver sooner than 14 days, machine availability permitting.
For ongoing label requirements we offer the 'blanket order' service, which means, after you commit to ordering 1 years projected label usage, we will produce this amount and dispatch on a weekly or monthly basis according to your instruction. By doing this, you will get an on-demand next day service, and invoiced for whatever you take, which can fit in with your budget allowance and forecasting.
Whether local, nationwide or international, we can deliver to you!
For customers wishing to collect their goods, we will telephone or email you as soon as the goods are ready. Collections can take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Our standard UK delivery charge is £8.50. Large or bulky items are charged according to weight. When goods weigh over 100kgs we will ask if delivery on pallet is acceptable.
Goods to mainland UK are delivered using a next-day courier service as standard, and we have selected our couriers carefully so that consignments can be traced on the internet at any time and of course, to ensure parcels are delivered on time. As part of the service, proof of deliveries are available upon request.
For an additional fee, we are pleased to offer special timed deliveries and Saturday services. Please contact us for more information.
Re-Ordering
Simply send us another purchase order by post, fax or email, and we will acknowledge this with a lead time. Normally, you will be invoiced with 30 day credit terms (excluding international orders).
